Artistic Projects

Here I would like to highlight various projects I have worked on with may artists, and arts organizations in order to showcase the evolution of my artistic style.

Giving thanks to all my supporters and mentors along the way.

I want to give a special thanks to my father Gayton Nabess who has instilled in me a passion for our culture and art. My grandfather Veikko Latveonen who was my biggest supporter. Wendy Welch at The Vancouver Island School of Art for sharing her passion for pattern and process art with me. And to the many others, I mention in the projects below.

Raven and Crow Rehab/Rescue Sanctuary (TRACRS) Logo

I would like to thank Trish ('the raven whisperer') for entrusting me with designing the logo for the Terrace Raven and Crow Rehab/Rescue Sanctuary (TRACRS). Having the had the privilege of witnessing Trish's passion, love and care for these birds first hand while visiting the facilities, I can say she has a life-changing impact on the wildlife in the area. Thank you Trish and best of luck to those beautiful wee birdy souls In the logo we have included two of TRACRS's rescued crows, Bonnie and Clyde, protected by a braid of sweetgrass.
